Overview
Pupil is a mobile platform that supports low-income, first-generation high schoolers discover mentors academically and professionally to streamline their experiences in navigating college applications.
This app was inspired by the personal experiences of Pupil's CEOs, Dario and Aarav. In particular, Dario's experience as a first-generation, low-income, Latinx youth growing up in Gary, Indiana, where most schools are rated a C- and below, and 90% of students were on free or reduced lunch led to a high school mentorship that transformed his academic journey.

Problem
The currently developed user flows and prototypes present navigational challenges, and key features such as onboarding and mentorship matching profiles have not yet been implemented.
Mentors and mentees encountered barrers in accessing a confusing binterface, inaccessible design. and an overwhelmiing onborading and home screen experiences.
